We are thoroughly enjoying the book, Our Island story. It brings everything to life. Most of our history s learned through read alouds and discussion.
have you read any other books in this series, Jenny?
Hey Lynn, I'm currently reading and studying the CM method and hoping to start using it in our home educating soon - I'm still feeling a little overwhelmed as to where to start (even though the concept is so simple!), did you bring it all in at once or start with 'narration' for example?!
I'd love to hear about your wax resist underwater scene...sounds fascinating!
Leah, I brought CM in gradually, beginning with nature study!
I read a really good online article about starting with CM...will find it & send you the link...

Jeanne, I will have to blog it ;)
It may get to next week before we make a start on it..we still have a lot of 'crafty things' on the go, at the momment! LOL!
Leah, I actually blogged about the article! (I had forgotten!) it is a really good, simple read, hth
