We are thoroughly enjoying the book, Our Island story. It brings everything to life. Most of our history s learned through read alouds and discussion.

Hey Lynn, I'm currently reading and studying the CM method and hoping to start using it in our home educating soon - I'm still feeling a little overwhelmed as to where to start (even though the concept is so simple!), did you bring it all in at once or start with 'narration' for example?!

Leah, I brought CM in gradually, beginning with nature study!
I read a really good online article about starting with CM...will find it & send you the link...
