A Happy New Year to you all!!!
Last night my poor husband was tucked up in bed at 8pm with a cold! Earlier in the day I found this beautiful shawl whilst surfing the internet. So I had a look through my yarn stash & found some beautiful alpaca / silk fingering weight in a lovely pale blue / lilac blend. I downloaded the fab never not knitting podcast & cast on the shawl. I had a really cosy eveing, knitting, listening & praying & meditating upon the new year.
This morning my husband gave me a lie in, 'till 8.30am! (unheard of!) When I did get up, the girls & I went for a lovely walk in the woods. This afternoon we are off to visit my mum & dad & have a late lunch with them. So, I am off to watch a movie with the girls & hubby & get knitting on my shawl!
