Thanks Lynn, I actually have a few of those (or more than a few actually) However, I'm surprised not to see
The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey
and
The Greatest Gift the story of the other wise man
and
The Tale of Three Trees.

Some great books for littlies though and I need all the help I can get in that department!!! Beginning to get excited now!!!

What a great list, thank you for sharing! I really struggle with finding the right way to explain Santa to my 4-yr. old. Last year we really likes Santa, Are You For Real by Harold Myra :)

Lovely selection!
I managed to get a vintage copy of Tahsa Tudor's Take Joy! book, it's absolutely amazing but out of print now so quite pricey, but one to really treasure.

Hi Lynn, have you read "The Donkey's Dream" by Barbara Helen Berger? I just love her books & they all make me teary-eyed with sweet emotion.

I have to get out the books from upstairs, but there is another sweet one called, "The Bear's Christmas" by Brigitte Frey Moret.

I also am setting aside much of Dec to read lots of larger books to the girls, including, "Mary's Little Donkey and the Flight to Egypt" by Gunhild Sehlin, "Lara's Frist Christmas" by Alice O. Howell, "Nativity Stories" by Alan Howard, "The Emperor's Vision and other Christ Legends" by Selma Lagerlof, "The Lion in the Box: A Christmas Story" by Marguerite DeAngeli"The Christmas Story Book" by Ineke Verschuren, and I ordered "Christmas Roses", but haven't seen it yet. I also wanted to do "The Light in the Lantern", but that's on my wish list...I'll have to list our board books and shorter books when I get the books down from the shelves in my closet upstairs! I'll be back soon with those, but am excited to check out your book recs! Great idea to post them here :D Dec is by far my favorite month of the year! So special!!!!

Hey Lynn, I found another one that is really a sweet story that is tied into the Christmas season at the end of the book, but it's called, "The Little Troll" by Thomas Berger & Ronald Heuninck. It'll be the first time the girls hear it, but I've been saving it for Dec! Here's the US amazon link to see reviews & descriptions...hth!

This post is such fun, Lynn!
